Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP will provide access to its website https://antiterrorism.eu/ in accordance with the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital availability of public sector website or mobile app.

The website partially conforms to the Act of 4 April 2019 on the digital availability of public sector website or mobile app. Any discrepancies and exclusions are listed below.

Non-available content:

  • Non-text elements (graphics, images presenting important information) do not have alternative text or content descriptions added.
  • Not all downloadable files (in .pdf, .doc, and other formats) are prepared to be accessible – some lack a structure that allows blind individuals to browse them or are scanned documents.
  • PDF files available on the website may lack a language tag in some browsers.
  • Some of the published texts do not have the proper heading structure.
  • Some content is placed using a style sheet, which may make it inaccessible to screen readers.
  • The HTML structure of page elements may not meet WCAG requirements in some areas.
  • Not all tables have headers.

Exclusions

Some of the files have been published before the digital availability act came into force or are not used to perform current activities. The Institute will takes all the steps necessary to remove the issues identified.

Łukasiewicz – PIAP does not provide a mobile app.

You can also apply for access to the information that are not available and make requests for availability.
Anyone can make a request for digital availability of a website or any of its components. You can also make requests for availability of the information through alternative means, for example reading a document that is not available in a digital form, describing the content of a video without audio description etc.
The request should include:

  • first and Last Name,
  • indication of which web page element is being referred to,
  • Contact information (email address or correspondence address) and preferred method of contact.

The Institute declares that the request will be handled within 7 days. If there is a delay, the Institute will immediately inform the requesting party on the next available date. If the digital availability cannot be provided, the Institute will suggest an alternative method to access the information requested.
If the Institute refuses to meet the request for availability or provide the alternative method to access the information, the requesting party may file a complaint regarding providing the digital availability of the website or the element of the website.
If the procedure is unsuccessful, a complaint can be filed with the Polish Ombudsman.

Availability of our facilities

Headquarters: Łukasiewicz Research Network – Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements PIAP, Al. Jerozolimskie 202, 02-486 Warsaw.
Łukasiewicz – PIAP operates several facilities including laboratories, experimental and low-volume production facilities and offices. The buildings are located at an area covering approximately 7 hectares.

The most important from the point of view of availability is the main office and the laboratory complex including the offices of the key managerial personnel. The entrance to the complex is at the pavement level providing easy access to disabled visitors and staff. The main entrance is secured with a gate with access control features and a separate entrance for wheelchair users. A parking with disabled spaces is located directly in front of the main entrance. All the main complex exits are located at the pavement level.

The production facilities (workshops) have several entrances. Access for wheelchair users is provided with the assistance of a staff member familiar with the building layout.

Łukasiewicz – PIAP also operates a branch in Toruń, ul. Batorego 107. The facility is not adapted for use by disabled visitors and staff due to lack of elevators and access ramps. Assistance dogs are welcome.

The main complex in Warsaw has wide corridors providing easy access for the disabled. Łukasiewicz – PIAP facilities include freight and passenger elevators. The disabled can access different floors with the assistance of a staff member authorized to operate the elevator.

A toilet for wheelchair users is located in the main complex in the Conference Centre at the ground floor.

No voice guidance systems for blind and visually impaired is provided in the Łukasiewicz – PIAP elevators. No induction loops, no Braille markings and high contrast labels are provided for blind and visually impaired. No sign language interpreter is provided.

No online access to Polish sign language interpreter is provided within the facilities.

Assistance and guide dogs are welcome in all Łukasiewicz-PIAP facilities.
